I am so excited! Going to Europe...next year.?

How do I contain my excitement? I'm going to France, Monaco, and Italy. I'm going a year from now, but I'm already so excited! I want to be excited, but not over the top, going crazy for a year excited. Any tips to get ready, what to buy, etc? How do I not freak for the next year leading up to my trip? Thanks so much!
