I have a car title with no lien holder listed, do i technically own the car though i haven't finished paying?

you must have paid something (even if not full payment) as the car title imposes no agreed upon price. If no lien then it is yours if you made even partial payment without a lien. YOU however must live with yourself everyday if you cheat the other party. Karma is a ***** with a long vengeful memory-remember that next time something bad happens in your day. Bad things happen to bad people more often because they do bad things. The other party may take offense at being cheated and may seek you out . If it is a used car dealership then they can trash your credit for years.
